Artbeerfest, Caminha (Northern Portugal)      11-14 July 2019

Beer Without Borders is delighted to have been invited to represent Scotland at this wonderful celebration of beer in Caminha, Portugal.   It was with great honour and pleasure that we featured a selection of fantastic Scottish craft beers at Artbeerfest.   Festival goers loved the superb stouts, sours and India pale ales we took from Dundee, Edinburgh, Loch Fyne and the Scottish Borders.   On the first day we were welcomed by the town's mayor, to whom we gifted one of our T shirts, which he wore for official photographs.

The BWB crew had an amazing time, forging new friendships with amazing brewers from Portugal, Spain, and further afield.  Wonderful party atmosphere every evening.. On the Saturday our fantastic Brazilian DJ, Rodrigo da Matta (based in Berlin) kept pumping out vibrant rhythms until dawn.   Check out the videos we're uploading to our You Tube channel, Beerwithoutborders

Our selection of  beers was showcased at the Beer Without Borders booth throughout the festival,  hosted by the brewers who created them along with the BWB team, who also provided Vanessa's  freshly made Scottish Haggis and Chorizo pakoras coated in our own beer batter.   Bespoke commemorative T shirts and baseball caps were available to purchase at our booth.

Thanks to the festival organiser, Octavio Costa, our brewers, the BWB team and the people of Caminha for making this such a special event for all concerned.
